Build your website
Create your studio's website from ready-made pages, a blank page, or a copy of your current site.

FrontRow can host your studio's public website, with your live class schedule, registration buttons and contact forms built in. This article walks you through creating the site for the first time.
Before you start#
Only owners and admins can build and publish the website. Open Website in the menu (on a computer, look under More in the top bar). If your studio doesn't have a site yet, you'll see Build your website with three short steps.
Nothing you do here goes live until you publish, so feel free to explore.
Create your site#
- Under 1. How do you want to start?, pick one:
- Bring over my current website: we copy the text and photos from your current site into your new one.
- Start with ready-made pages: Home, Classes, About and Contact, filled in with your details, classes and contact information.
- Start with a blank page: just a home page with your name on it.
- Under 2. Choose a design, pick the design you like best. You can change every color, font and photo later.
- Under 3. Choose your free address, check the Subdomain. It starts as your studio's link name, and it becomes the first part of your site's free web address.
- Select Create website.
Bringing over your current website#
If you chose Bring over my current website, type your current site's address under Your current website and tick the box to confirm it's your studio's site (or that you have the right to copy it). Then select Create website and copy my site.
We read your home page and the pages in its menu (up to 12) and copy their headings, text, photos and videos. Your new site uses the design you picked, not your old one, and your old site isn't changed.
Copying usually takes a minute or two. A card on the Overview tab shows the progress, and you can keep working meanwhile. When it's done, the card lists the pages it copied. Check each one, tidy the layout, and add live blocks like your class schedule before you publish.
Good to know: Some photos can't be copied, for example if they can't be downloaded or aren't a JPEG, PNG or GIF. The card tells you how many pages or photos were skipped and why. You can copy again later from the Pages tab with Copy from my current website.
Find your way around#
Once your site exists, the Website area has these tabs:
- Overview: a preview of your home page, a Getting started checklist, your addresses, recent publishes, numbers at a glance, and your site's analytics (visits and registrations).
- Pages: add, reorder, hide and edit pages.
- Design: colors, fonts, header, menus and footer.
- Media: your photos and graphics.
- Settings: your free address, your own domain, redirects, version history and starting over.
Messages and trial requests from your site's forms are added to your leads. Read them in Growth, under Leads. See Form submissions.
The top of every tab shows whether your site is Live, a Draft or Offline, with Preview and Publish buttons.
Start over#
Changed your mind? Open Settings, scroll to Start over and select Start over…. You choose a start and a design again, and every page and your current design are replaced. Your live site stays as it is until you publish, and your address, domains, form submissions and visit numbers are kept.
